Lock, Wipe, Backup and Restore

From the SMobile Parental Control dashboard, parents have the
ability to remotely Lock, Wipe, Backup and Restore all information
or content on the mobile device. This functionality provides
protection from device theft, loss or misplacement of the device.
If your child leaves the device at a friends’ house or school the
parent has the ability to remotely lock the device temporarily
until the device is back in the hands of your child. Additionally,
if the device is misplaced a parent can remotely invoke the
GPS locate function and a Google Map will be displayed on
the Parental Dashboard showing the exact location
of the device.

To use the Lock, Wipe, Backup and Restore feature,
login to the SMobile Parental Control Dashboard and
choose the following options:

Lock Handset
Unlock Handset
Wipe Handset
Send Backup to Handset
GPS Locate Handset

A parent can remotely backup all data on the device,
wipe it clean or restore data to the device from the
Parental Control Dashboard.
